Educational Workshop on Sea Turtle Friendly Lighting Issues – Sponsored by the Franklin County Lighting Department at the Courthouse Annex in Apalachicola on June 10th at 6:30.

The Quilters meet at 10:00 AM upstairs at the firehouse (324 E. Pine Ave). The quilt is annually auctioned off at the Apalachicola Seafood Festival. Proceeds go to the St. George Island Fire Department and First Responders. 850-927-2116.

The St. George Island Business Association meets the 3rd Wednesday of each month in the Buccaneer Inn's conference room at 6:15. 850-927-4695. County Commissioner and Tourist Development Council (TDC) member Russell Crofton will speak about and answer questions about the TDC at the June 18th meeting. Everyone is welcome.
